About Me

I’m Lara and I’m so happy you have landed here today. I’m also a little curious about what has brought you here and seeing as you’re on this about me page, I guess you are a little curious about me.

So, let me fill you in…

I’m 40 in August of this year (2017).

I live on the Wirral Peninsula in the UK.

I love to travel and have adventures with my lovely fiancé.

My dream life involves a home in Gatehouse of Fleet area of Scotland with my fiancé, my parents, dogs, goats, chickens and at least a couple of alpaca’s.

For me reading is as necessary as breathing and I still haven’t got over Borders Bookstores closing down.

I love being creative…cake decorating and paper crafts are some of my hobbies.

I adore nature and being outdoors and actually studied Field Biology and Habitat Management at University with the intention of becoming a Park Ranger.

I’ve felt stuck in my life more times than I care to admit I’ve been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia and other health issues but always find ways to live a happy fulfilled life.

I’m a qualified Life Coach and Post-Compulsory Education Teacher, amongst other things.

About Live Dream Sparkle

My wish with the Live Dream Sparkle blog is to share with you some of what I have learned through my life’s ups and downs. To inspire you with stories, resources and hints, and tips on how I live my happiest life and also some of the things that have hindered my happiness, in the hope that you can avoid them.

I’m not here to tell you I’ve got it all sorted and I’m not here to teach you anything.  I want to share with you what I know so you what might help you to live your happiest life.

You can read more on my very first blog post here.

  1. Hi Lara,
Nice to meet you. You’ve inspired me to make a proper separate about me and blog pages as the current one is mostly about the blog. But readers may want to know me better too. Especially PR ppl and companies, to see if I would be a match to their ethos/product or clients they hope to reach thru me.

Borders closing was a bummer. I loved their international magazine section.

    1. Ooh that’s great to hear. I can’t wait to read your page. I think more and more people want to know about the person behind the blog.

I used to spend hours (and way too much money) in Borders 😉 xx
